ARLES,MODERN BISTRONOMY IN DE PIJP

Arles is tucked away in a quiet street in De Pijp, a neighbourhood known for its informal energy and urban rhythm. The area is lively without being busy, with a natural mix of neighbourhood life, creativity and international influences. It is a place where Amsterdammers come together, and where an evening can easily turn into a night out.

SETTING & ATMOSPHERE

Inside, Arles feels intimate and open at the same time. The interior is well thought out but not designed to impress – rather to provide comfort and focus on what is happening at the table. Art and materials create layers without dominating the space. The atmosphere is relaxed and just refined enough. Service moves with the pace of the evening: present when needed, in the background when possible. A setting that invites conversation, good wine and a long stay.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY

Arles is located in a quiet side street in De Pijp, a neighbourhood known for its layered city life and informal dynamics. The area moves effortlessly with the rhythm of the day, shaped by independent cafés, local shops and familiar addresses.

De Pijp is well-organised, well-connected and easily accessible. Whether you come on foot, by bicycle or by public transport, Arles is naturally located in the heart of the neighbourhood - central, accessible and unmistakably Amsterdam.

A PERFECT DESTINATION FOR A PRIVATE DINING IN DE PIJP

The interior is shaped by a carefully curated selection of art, inspired by the famous photography exhibitions of Arles in the south of France - a city internationally recognised as a centre for visual arts. This artistic heritage is woven into the restaurant’s character, creating a space where cuisine, wine and art naturally come together.
